Keeping Blow Dried Hair Healthy Hair
Blow drying is convenient and quick. Especially with our busy and active
lives. We need a quick beauty regimen to get us on our way. Therefore many of
us choose to blow dry our locks. Although it is convenient and quick, it can
also be very damaging and cause hair to be brittle and weak. Here are some tips
to keeping hair beautiful while blow drying.

-Hair is at its weakest when wet. Rubbing hair dry with a towel when wet could
cause damage and make hair brittle, resulting in breakage. Blot moisture out
with a towel. Be careful while brushing or combing when wet. It could cause
damage and breakage if tugged or pulled. The best opt. to this solution is to
use fingers to detangle hair. Do not use a brush until hair is slightly damp.
Therefore hair will not stretch and snap and less damage will result.
-Do not blow dry hair while soaking wet. First, blot excess water with a towel.
-Hold blow dryer at least six inches from hair and constantly move the dryer around
the head to keep from burning the hair.
-Protect the outer strands from being over dried and damaged by flipping the hair
over and dry upside down.
-After blowing hair dry with a warm setting, switch the dryer to a cool setting and
blow dry each section again for a few seconds. This will seal the cuticle of the
hair and reduce frizz.
-You may also use a heat protector to safeguard hair against excessive damage.

occasional drying being that it takes a little more time out of our busy schedules.
