Hair Care
Promoting Healthier Hair
Washing Your Hair
Hair care is extreamly important and should continusally be practiced through
your life. This will help to ensure your hair to stay looking beautful and feeling great.
To keep your healthy and minimize breakage, only wash your hair four
times a week and use a conditioner. When washing your hair be sure to
thoroughly wet it before applying shampoo. Use a small amount of
shampoo, about a quarter size drop. Rub the shampoo between your palms
and apply to your hair. When applying use a gentle massaging motion
being sure to get deep down into the roots. Avoid lathering for more
than 30 seconds. Once your hair is fully lathered, rinse with cool water.
Rinsing with cold water will help to seal moisture in your hairs shafts.

Drying Your Hair
By towel drying your hair before you blow-dry it you'll save time and avoid damage.
Blow-drying your hair with high heat can damage your hair. Use the cooler settings.
Brushing Your Hair
Distribute the natural oils in your hair by bending over and brushing your hairs
from its roots to its ends. To cut down on static electricity, dampen your hairbrush
before brushing. After brushing massage your scalp with your fingertips.
Dull and Lifeless Looking Hair
Dull, lifeless hair can be caused by a poor diet. Try cutting down on cholesterol
and fats, and eat salmon, and vegetables.
Removing Residue
You can remove residue buildup with clarifying shampoo (Suave, or Neutrogena both
work well). Beer can also remove residue from your hair. Add 10 to 12 tablespoons of
beer with 2 cup warm water and pour it over your hair as a final rinse.
